  • 1.  Issues with REST API authentication

    Hi!

    I'm trying to build an integration with Cvent Rest API following this guide for authentication.

    However, I'm struggling to make it work. Here's the command I'm using:

    curl -X POST https://api-platform-eur.cvent.com/ea/oauth2/token -H 'Authorization: Basic [Base64_encoded(client_id:client_secret)]' -H 'Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded' -d 'grant_type=client_credentials' -d 'client_id=[client_id]' -d 'scope=event/admission-items:read'

    I made sure to give the right permission to the developer account I'm using to access the API.

    Does anybody know what the issue could be?

    You can call our Customer Care team and follow the prompts for Event and then Integrations: Cvent Support Hours and Toll-Free Numbers
