MGI 2024 Association Economic Outlook Report):
- 56% expect to see increase in non-dues revenue (events and sponsorships)
- 42% have seen an increase in in-person meeting attendance as compared to pre-pandemic levels
- "The percentage of groups planning to offer only in-person events jumped from 39% to 61% this year"
- Messaging, or how they are marketing events, to members strongly emphasizes education and training (73%) and networking (64%)
- What is association leadership worried about? Productivity and collaboration (increase in hybrid office structures) and operational cost increases (72%)
