I have an event coming up with several different registration types, and each registration type is allowed to bring a different number of guests.  One registration type is not allowed any guests, they're only allowed to register themselves.

I can't seem to find a way to not allow guests - the registration path for that reg type keeps prompting me to add the "Add guest" widget when I don't want that showing.  How do I configure this?

Hi Sarah,

Do you have a separate registration path for each reg type? If two types are sharing a reg path, that could be the issue. If the non-guest reg type has their own path, then you should be able to remove the guest widget altogether.

If a path already exists solely for that reg type, and that's the path that is giving you the error, I suspect there might be a setting wrong somewhere, but I don't know that I can tell you for sure what it is.

Tori's suggestion is definitely the best route to go! You'll need to have a separate path for the registration type that is not allowed to bring guests. On that path, you can remove the guest widget and this should not allow registrants to add guests.
