I am very new to CVENT.  I am creating an abstract.  In the project design page when name is included for the author there is not text box.  Is this so that it can be a blind review?  How will I know who the submission is from?

Hi Amelia - 

If you are talking about the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields it is because they will pre-populate with the name of the person who logged into the Abstract Management module - that is the person submitting the abstract. If they have co-authors, there is a widget you can drop in for them to add a co-author. Hope that helps! :)

Hope you are well.

As Tori rightly mentioned, the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields will pre-populate for the authors as they will create their login using their name and email address and then submit their papers. And when the reviewer will review their submissions, it will prepopulate it for them.

However, if you still want to be double sure, you can create these as custom contact field and add it in the 'Step 1: Enter the Author's Details' page in the abstract site designer and ask the authors to re-enter their name and email address while filling up the form.
