I just had an event last month where the same thing happened. I spent quite a bit of time with support because my client wasn't happy about it. They said that a weak Wi-Fi signal (especially public WiFi instead of a dedicated line) will cause that to happen. In our case, the attendees usually ended up getting the notification on their notification list eventually when they were somewhere with a strong signal, but not the push pop-up.
I also had a support person tell me that Android users will not see the push notification happen if they already have the app actively open when it goes out. It will still show up in the notification list but the push pop-up won't appear. This seems strange to me, but I don't use an Android so I couldn't investigate it further.

Subject: Push Notification Issues
We just finished an annual conference where the Attendee Hub app was used. The push notifications were great but did not seem to be functioning properly. Several attendees mentioned they were not receiving the notifications even though they enabled/allowed notifications on their phone.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? The management team would like to know what happened but so far I don't have any explanation.
