Hi Laura - I would do this using two Admission Items. Under Advanced Settings, you can limit availability. For those attending both days, you would select all the sessions. On the other admission item, limit availability to only sessions on day 2. In some instances I let attendees select their admission item during registration, while others I assign using invite lists tied to registration types, then assign one admission item to each registration type. If you need to limit travel dates, I would do this using Advanced Rules. I hope this helps.
