    I hope everyone is starting the week off with a great Monday! It's time to share our Huddle of the Week post!

    Events have so many benefits including lead capture, marketing opportunities, sales and/or sponsorships, organizational awareness, etc. These events are also quite costly and intricate to organize and plan, and efficiency is important. There are many Cvent products that can save you time and cut your costs when planning these  events.

    Here are a couple of questions for you:

    We actually don't use these tools!

      1. We haven't needed diagramming, but would certainly use it if we needed it - it's a great tool!

      1. It's great to be able to better visualize the space to cut down on resetting the space once you have boots on the ground

    2. How does using Event Diagramming save you time and cut costs? Providing Diagrams in the bid process assisting in closing sales faster.  It saves time and money when on site because prior to arrival you have agreed on the set of each meeting room .

    We don't currently have a use case for it, but as we move more into some internal meetings coming in 2023, I'm hopeful that we'll be able to use it.

      • This is a new feature that was just brought to my attention and I wish I would have know about it sooner. It is such a great tool.
    2. How does using Event Diagramming save you time and cut costs?
      • I just used this for the first time and it helped us visualize a space at a venue that is not local to us. It helped us cut down back and forth emails with the sales team for the venue since I was able to diagram the space myself and we were able to save costs for a site visit since the venue diagraming helped confirm our spatial needs.

    1. Do you use Cvent Diagramming and Seating (formally Social Tables)? We do not, our meeting/events planners provide their own diagrams
    2. How does using Event Diagramming save you time and cut costs?  Huge time savings to make sure events are well organized and operate smoothly, I'd imagine that if we did not plan out accordingly, we'd run into additional costs because certain elements were missed.

    Sadly we currently aren't using these tools. I've seen demonstrations and it looks amazing, but our meeting space isn't quite big enough to justify the cost of the programs.
