    Another question :)

    So I'm working on the survey section of cvent and so confused.

    1) I want to test my survey but when I click test the event myself, it makes me put in an invitee, I select my name and then  it just says test executed and I don't see any actual test.

    Two parts to the next question:

    1) in the profile section of my App it shows survey and when I click on it, it shows what looks like a generic survey (not the one I created). Why wouldn't it show the one I created? this worries me that when the survey does go out it will be this generic one instead of the one I created. 

    2) I don't want the survey to show at all yet, not until after the event. I  picked 'survey to show after the event', so why is it showing a generic one in the profile of App...how do I remove this from the App profile page as I don't want anyone to do the survey until after the event. 

    Lastly just to confirm if I click publish, then it will go out to all registered guests right....so I never want to click publish until its ready to go out? 

    Little freaking out event 1 week away!

    Hi Heidi,

    In regards to your first question, this is likely happening because the test scenario is being blocked by your pop-up blocker. You will need to look in your browser settings when this happens and always allow pop-ups from Cvent.  For your next questions, it sounds like this is happening because you have not published the changes that you have made to your survey yet. Clicking publish does not automatically send the survey out to any registered attendees or anything like that, it just pushes your changes live and makes it the current version of the survey. So once you publish, you should see your customized survey in the app vs. the generic one and it should reflect your settings that you have set up to only show after the event as well. You would have to manually send or schedule an email to be sent out for attendees to access the survey via email outside of the app (if you want) post-event, nothing is sent to attendees automatically via email when you publish.
