Hi Kate,
Cvent does require each attendee to have a unique email address to ensure accurate tracking and communication. However, a common workaround is to use email aliases (if the email provider allows it).
For example, if the shared email is familyemail@gmail.com, you can register one person as:
Gmail (and some others) will still route all emails to the original familyemail@gmail.com, but Cvent will treat each one as a unique address.
