Hi Abbey,
I think you can achieve this pretty easily with two separate admission items. Have one for virtual attendance with unlimited capacity, and one for in-person attendance with 10 capacity. Once the in-person is full, the virtual will be the only option available.
Here's a screenshot of the area in "Admission Item" to set the capacities:

Hi all,
I am planning a Hybrid event which has an in-person capacity of 10, and an unlimited virtual capacity. I'd like to allow registrants to select whether they will attend in-person or virtually when they register, and automatically close the in-person registration when we hit 10 people. Is there a way I can add a question to my Website registration page to allow invitees to select their registration type, and if in-person registration becomes filled, automatically direct them to register virtually?
