  • 1.  Website QR code

    Hi all,

Cvent's Knowledge Base articles aren't entirely clear on my question. I want to create a QR code to place on attendee badges that will take them directly to the agenda page on the website. Is this possible without using OnArrival?

    Hi Lindsey,

    Hope you are well!

You will have to create the Agenda page in the event and then create a weblink for the page. For this, please go to the event > marketing > Weblinks > Create weblink > Where would you like this link to bring invitees? > Landing Page > Landing Page > Select the Agenda Page > Save.

Copy the weblink you created on a notepad a word pad > Go to OnArrival >Barcodes and Passes in your event > Click on Barcodes & QR Codes > Create QR code > Give it a name > add a data tag code  > Data Type : URL >  Type of URL that will generate this code: Static - The code will link to a single URL > Under  URL, enter the Agenda weblinks > Save.

Once this is done, you can go to the badge you created, go to the badge designer > drag and drop the QR component on the badge > Click on the drop down for Select a QR code and select the QR code you created > OK. This will add the QR code to your badge.

Please note that to create a QR code, you need to enable the OnArrival feature in your event and you can create the QR using OnArrival Basic license as well.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
