Happy Wednesday System Admins Forum!

I'm thrilled to be getting a little more involved with the Cvent Community as the new User Group Leader for this forum. 

A little bit about me - I'm a Training Program Coordinator for ETC, Inc. in the Madison, WI area.  In my past career I was a Stage Manager for regional theaters where I learned a lot about event organization and management.  Now I work on the manufacturing side of the entertainment and architectural industries in an Education and Training capacity.  I'm fairly new to Cvent, having used the program for just about a year now.  It didn't take long for me to fall in love with it, though!  I work with a small team of people here in the US and with my counterpart in our UK office who all manage and run our training events.  I can't wait to keep learning more about Cvent, and I hope to learn a lot from my fellow Cvent Community members!

Now that you know me, I'd love to hear a little about you!  

• How long have you been using Cvent?
• Are you the only person who uses Cvent for your company or do you have a team of users that distribute responsibilities?
• How many events are you running in an average year and what's the size of your average event?

Its great to e-meet you Jess. I have to agree that I remember planning events using excel, mail merge and email. Cvent really streamlines the process to support more events at once. Technology overall has come a long way and I look forward to the future of event planning. 

I have personally been using Cvent for over 10 years. We have peers using the tool globally for various support such as planning and/or web building and sourcing among other things. As a global company we run a ton of events but given the size not all use a registration site through Cvent.
