  • 1.  Saleforce <> Cvent Integration

    Hi, I currently have a Saleforce <> Cvent Integration set up on our Salesforce environment.

    When the sync was kicked off , an error occurred when attempting to create a Lead.  There is a required picklist field on the Salesforce Lead object that is not related to CVENT. 

    How to resolve?  Making a default value for the picklist field may not be feasible.

    Any suggestions, greatly appreciated.

    Hi Paul,

    If the field is required the only way to resolve this using that record type would be to create a default value or make the field not required. Another option would be to create a specific lead record type for Cvent that does not use this field. If you would like more guidance I suggest opening a case in the community and one of our integration specialists would be happy to assist.
