  • 1.  Access Portal Login Issue

    Posted 5 days ago

Has anyone seen this issue with regard to logging into the Access Portal. This only recently started appearing and it doesn't appear to be related to specific users - it does seem to be an issue when using Chrome with Windows 11.

Upon entering the appropriate username and password into the Cvent Portal login page - and clicking the "Log In" button. The Username and Password fields are cleared (rather than logging in the user) and a message stating "The Username field is required." appears. I've been able to reproduce this using my own credentials. Using the exact same credentials with other browsers (including Chrome under MacOS) works without issue.

This is only affecting some of our portal users while others are continuing to work properly without issue.

Also using an Incognito window allows for normal operation, but using the "tune" button in Chrome to clear out the site cookies & data does not help (I also performed a restart to no avail after clearing the site cookies & data)

I did investigate this situation further and have found that it does seem to be tied to having the Keeper Password Manager active - specifically Keeper version 17.7.0. Folks with an older version of Keeper (version 17.6.0) appear to be okay. I do not have permissions to disable the Keeper extension, but I can enable/disable it in Incognito mode - when it is enabled in Incognito, the issue appears and when it is disabled in Incognito mode - login is norma
