    Hello, Community members! We have some exciting news to share – on October 18 we will be hosting our next Ask the Expert session here in the Open Forum! We will have fantastic experts from Cvent’s Product Management & client services team here to answer all your questions on the redesigned survey solution, how Cvent Surveys can allow you to gather insights from your attendee's experiences, evaluate knowledge using Assessments, and even automatically award credits after a participant completes the survey.

    Join us on Tuesday, October 18, from 10:30 am-11:30 am ET for the live session!

      Thanks for the question. 

      Planner's can navigate to the survey settings within the survey designer and add scores to the question's choices in the scoring model. The scoring feature is available for event, non-event and assessment surveys.

      Thanks for the question.

      Planners can highlight in the invitation emails regrading the credits that are up for grabs. Credits can be offered upon survey completion and if it is an assessment survey the credits can be offered when they pass & submit the survey.

      Grouping is the one reporting feature that is helpful for all reports, surveys and events. In all reports, you are able to group up to three of the column headers to do this following these breadcrumbs: 

      Run Report > the area with the main part of the data at the top right is a vertical ellipses hoer over this > Edit > right menu will update and have the header "Edit Grid Settings" > Select Grouping > Select the Data Point you want to group by > Update > Save/Save As as needed. 

      Another useful tool is the filter to remove the not necessary data or responses. For the tool when you run the report the minimized right side will the filter just expand and select the data points and answer you want to be displayed in the report.

      Surveys has a ton of useful reporting features including cross-survey reporting to compare between surveys, helpful charts and graphs that can be edited to help you visualize the data, and the ability to export the survey data to SPSS for further analysis.

      Thanks for the question.

      Some of key practices that definitely helps in a higher response rate are:
      1. Offering credits to the attendees/respondents. Planners can offer credits upon survey completion and if it is an assessment survey the credits can be offered when they pass & submit the survey.
      2. Questions which not open ended or text based however respondents just need to select the choice value in order to respond will definitely help.

      For new surveys we have rolled out Salesforce API's which will help you to integrate Cvent platform with SF and pass the data bi-directional. Let us know if there are specific use cases which are unaddressed so we can evaluate a potential gap in the offering.

      Your event theme won't appear automatically but you can choose to apply your event theme from the theme panel > selecting "Change Theme" > then selecting the "Start with the most recently saved version of your event website theme" option at the top of the list of themes.

      Can you expand on what you mean by automatic vs manual assessments? Currently our assessments tool requires planners to create their own questions and assign scores but can assist in automating other aspects such as awarding credits when someone passes their assessment.

      With the Survey tools, there are a number of reporting enhancements from the question types to dynamic logic behaviours also depending on the license that is purchased. There are a number of templates for survey reporting with a Premium license you are able to have access to more reporting such as: 

      Feedback Survey Completion Metrics which view survey completion rates and details of attendees who responded to general and session surveys.

      Currently survey reporting will only show you response details for partial and completed responses so you won't see blank rows for attendees who haven't responded yet. This is a great suggestion for our Ideas section here in the Cvent Community: https://community.cvent.com/ideas!!

      • Survey Designer - this WYSIWYG editor allows you to more easily build a great looking survey without  needing to know any advanced coding or web design! 
      • Dedicated Assessments that are separate from Feedback Surveys

      Can I link my survey to multiple events? Yes, however you will need the Premium Survey license from Cvent then you are able to link up to 100 events to a single survey.

      To award credits after a customer has taken the feedback survey or assessment, first you have to set up the credits in Admin and then go to the event you are looking to award to enable. Once you enable credits in your event, there are 2 options regarding Survey you can choose as you finish configuring credits for your event:
      • Anyone who completes the general event feedback survey 
      • Anyone who completes the assessment

      How can I evaluate knowledge from my event using Assessments?

      Thank you for the question. 

      Assessment is a very powerful offering within Surveys. It has great capabilities when it comes to evaluating the knowledge of the attendees at the event level or per session.
      Planners can create assessment(s) for the event and share it with their registrants or participants. Upon configuring a score for the survey and setting up a pass/fail criteria planners can evaluate the attendees knowledge stack and if the attendees are passed planners can go ahead and award credits, certificates or both.
