    Planner Alerts is an area that we don't have in active discovery but are very open to seeing what users need as we gather more feedback around it. It is certainly one of our most powerful tools for Planners, and I agree that it would be amazing to see some new functionality there!     for the virtual backgrounds, can we enforce the same background for all presenters  based on company?  is there a way I can group all presenters from XXX company and apply the virtual background to them?

    Hi Jon,

    Love this idea! The most recent update allows for custom images to be uploaded by Hosts and/or speakers, so you could recommend or even aid in the upload of the imagery you'd like per company. Building in an enforcement layer, though, is something I can pass along to our Attendee Hub Product Managers for review.

    We really need a train widget for our registration forms. Are there plans to create one? It wouldn't need to pull in train stations the way the flight widget pulls in airports; that could be a text field.

    We completely agree that Rail/Train travel is something that we'd like to see be available for Planner configuration and Attendee selection. Our Product Managers are hard at work defining what this might look like!     We are looking to gain a deeper understanding of the current and future capabilities of Cvent's reporting system, with a specific and urgent focus on gamification analytics.

    While we've utilized reports like "Invitee Details" and appreciate the breadth of fields available there, we find the current standard gamification reporting options to be somewhat restrictive for our analytical needs. Our goal is to move beyond general participation metrics and delve into more granular insights.

    Specifically, we are seeking to understand:

    1. Current Granular Reporting for Gamification:

      • Point Totals per Category/Challenge: Can we generate reports that show total points accumulated by attendees specifically broken down by individual gamification categories or specific challenges/questions within a game? For example, if we have categories like "Session Engagement," "Networking Activities," and "Exhibitor Booth Visits," can we see discrete point totals for each?
      • Activity-Specific Point Tracking: How can we isolate and report on points awarded for distinct activities within a challenge? For instance, if a "Session Engagement" challenge includes points for attending a session, asking a question, and polling, can we see the point breakdown for each of these specific actions?
      • Passport/QR Code Scan Gamification Reporting: We are planning to implement "passport-style" QR code scans as part of our gamification strategy (e.g., attendees scan QR codes at various locations or for completing specific offline tasks to earn points). What are the precise reporting capabilities for points accrued solely through these specific QR code scan activities within a game, differentiating them from general session check-in scans? Can these be isolated and reported on separately?
    2. Customization Capabilities & Workarounds:

      • Beyond the standard gamification reports, what level of customization is currently possible? Are there advanced reporting tools, filtering options, or export capabilities that would allow us to construct these more granular views if they are not available "out-of-the-box"?
      • Are there recommended best practices or existing workarounds that other Cvent users have successfully implemented to achieve this level of detailed gamification reporting?
    3. Future Roadmap and Enhancements:

      • Is there an anticipated timeline for enhancements to the gamification reporting module that would natively support more detailed and customizable data outputs, such as those described above?
      • Are features like reporting on points per category, per question, or for specific QR code-driven game activities part of Cvent's development roadmap?

    We need to effectively measure engagement across different facets of our events and understand which gamified elements are most compelling to our attendees. Your detailed guidance on leveraging current reporting tools for these specific needs, and insight into upcoming developments, would be invaluable.

    Thank you, Chris, for your question and feedback. We understand that the current gamification reporting capability isn't as detailed as you would like. Although enhancing this feature doesn't yet have a planned release date, it is certainly on our list of roadmap items. We encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts in our Ideas section of the community at https://community.cvent.com/ideas, which is reviewed during the planning of new product developments.

    Regarding report customization, you can currently filter reports by Registration Type, Admission Item, and Company. You can also add any standard contact fields to display more information about attendees.

    Additionally, I want to point out that when viewing a specific attendee's record, you can access the action menu to view their activities. Using the group filter, you can focus on attendee hub activities and apply the activity filter to examine specific actions taken by the attendee. This should help you understand how they accumulated their game points.

    Hi Virginia – Thanks for your question. In general, if you're already a Cvent Registration  customer then the recommendation is that you would want to continue to use Registration for event management given the robust feature/functionality already available across the entire Cvent platform  – and the value of having all of your event data in one centralized location for easy access and cross event reporting and analysis etc. Essentials in general is a good solution for decentralized teams, like field marketer teams, who are responsible for high-volume, repeatable events. This is a good topic for you to discuss with your account team so that they can help you evaluate the ideal solution given your specific account needs.  Here's an article that could also help with more information:  How Cvent Solutions Work Together to Support Your Total Event Program.  We're excited to have these product options to offer!

    Hello friends! 

    After sitting through the AI session last week, I am really eager to start using that in our registration process. Is there any timeline on when we can expect to have more control on the planner side for this? I'm thinking of our larger events at Duke - like reunions, where we have dozens and dozens of different sessions and would love to be able to suggest to an attendee a particular session that maybe could use an attendance bump or has just been added or capacity bumped up. Really keen on finding ways to incorporate this into our every day work. :)

    Hi Kate!

    I'm so thrilled to hear you're excited to use our AI features. The first release of the Attendee facing Assistant will be for the Event Website and shortly thereafter for Attendee Hub. Both will be able to suggest Sessions based on user interests or questions. We would love to hear what sort of control you're looking to see on the Planner side for this which is why we're in Beta for this feature right now. Please talk to your Account Team about joining in if you'd like to be able to provide direct feedback early on. The specific use case you've already mentioned sounds great, and I'll be sure to take that back to our core group of PMs overseeing this feature set.

    Will there be any updates to the certificate/invoice builder? Hoping for something similar to the OnArrival Badge designer. It is hard to create certificates without being able to see the entire page.
