  • 1.  Attendee website - Downsides of making it live

    Hello,
     want to make some tests on the Attendee Website but I'm not sure how to preview this (we are not using Attendee app).

    Are there downsides on making that live? I want to avoid a scenario where I can't do changes to content because I push it live.

    I will not share the link until we are ready so that will work as a Preview.

    You can make the website live separately from the registration.
    I generally do what testing I can then make make the registration live.
    Sometimes I'll password protect it just so no one registers.

    There are a few things you can't change once you are live.

    Currently, in order to preview the attendee website we are required to publish the same. I apologize for the inconvenience. But, it certainly is a great feedback. I suggest you to post this on the 'Product Ideas' tab of Cvent community i.e. Cvent community > Participate > Product ideas > Add new or Upvote an existing idea.

    There is no downsides of making the attendee website live. There is only one thing which can't be changed post making it live i.e, Terms of Use text can't be changed after an attendee has accepted or responded. You can continue to make any other cosmetic changes as and when needed. Please review the following article:
