  • 1.  Automatic Rolling Personal Data Obfuscation

    Does anyone know if when you enable automatic personal data obfuscation, is it possible to turn it off before the auto delete date occurs?  We are basically looking to only set the automatic obfuscation settings up to a certain point as the retention period that we need to delete data has not yet been reached.

    Hi Kerry,

    Automatic (rolling) personal data obfuscation in Cvent is a continuous, threshold-based process that obfuscates contacts once they meet your configured inactivity / transaction criteria, not on a single fixed "auto-delete" date; you can stop further automatic obfuscation at any time by switching the account's obfuscation type to "Disable All Bulk Obfuscation Options", which halts new obfuscations but cannot restore data that has already been obfuscated.
