    Hi Margarita,

I have suggestion for your query about resizing image for free in online.

    1. If you're frequently resizing images I recommend to give a try for Adobe Express, it's online & it's free to sign up.

    Adobe Express:

    https://www.adobe.com/in/express/feature/image/resize

    https://express.adobe.com/tools/image-resize

You can choose your output file "Resize for" dropdown or choose Custom and edit the Width & Height dimensions, scale it!!

    2. Please note this is a "offline" method you can give a try. If you're MS-Windows 11 user then it's quite simple. Open the image (Windows Photo), click on the '...' three dots as highlighted below > select "Resize image" then choose Pixel or Percentage then update the dimensions which you want. You can compare the Current: & New: at the bottom.

Please let know how if it helps!

If you're looking for a free and powerful Open Source tool, try Share X.  I use it for screen capture, screen recording, banner resizing, screen annotations, and basic image manipulation. Unlike Adobe products, it's not a resource hog and a wonderful productivity booster. The Guardian's 2018 article on the "best replacement for the Windows 10 Snipping Tool" lists ShareX first, with the caveat that it's powerful and probably "overkill for most users".

There are a variety of desktop image capabilities including screen color picker and selector, checksum tool (hash check), on-screen ruler, image combiner, thumbnails for images and video, image resizer, and many more.

The program also includes some basic automation. For example, taking a screenshot, adding a border and watermark, and then saving to a specific folder.

ShareX - The best free image edit, capture, and manipulation tool for Windows (getsharex.com)

TechRadar gave the program 4.5 out of 5 stars and listed it among their 2021 Best Screen Recorders.

Microsoft listed ShareX as the best Utility App in the 2022 Microsoft Store Community Choice Awards.
