  • 1.  Batch Assigning Sessions

    I'm looking for a way to quickly assign attendees to sessions. Choosing a session was not part of their registration process because we wanted it to be randomly assigned. There will be a breakout session at our event (everyone equally split into 10 rooms). I want to put them in sessions so I can use a data tag to add the session name to their badge. As far as I can tell, the only way to add them to the session is click through each participant and modify registration one at a time, which will be very time consuming with 300 people. Is there a faster way to do this? I was expecting to be able to click through the agenda pages and select/assign attendees from the registration list but that is not an option.

    I just found where to access this...originally I was looking through the forums and saw this post Assign Attendees to Sessions but the poster said they figured it out without sharing how. So for anyone seeing this in the future:

    If you go to the Attendee List, you can click the checkboxes to the left of names and then at top right under Bulk Actions, click on Update Session Registrants. You can filter out unwanted people with an advanced search for a certain Registration Type and set status to Accepted, among other things.

    You can also bulk unregister people this way too, but changing the dropdown to "Unregister" before selecting the session.
