Question: When you create a new registration and you have to select from a list of event categories, is there a way to personalize them or add custom categories?

Hi Tara,

If you're referring to the Event Category selected during event creation, you can create a custom event field (for example, department or region) so you can track and label events using your own categories.  If helpful, this Cvent Community thread points to the Using Custom Event Fields article as the recommended resource for setting that up.
