  • 1.  Changing text of ticket link data tag

    There used to be a way to change the text in a ticket link (also other tags)

    I entered this in the text widget.

    ----> {[E-TICKET LINK: Please print your entrance ticket]} <----

    Displays in site designer

    ----> Please print your entrance ticket <----

    My email shows

    ----> Print the ticket <---


    #EventApp

    Hi Steven,

    You can still change the text of a data tag using the method you explained above. I was able to replicate this issue and have sent it to our Product Team for further investigation. 

    In the meantime, we did identify a workaround that you can use. Instead of using the {[E-TICKET LINK]}  data tag, you can use the {[E-TICKET URL]} data tag and edit the text. 
    For example: Just write any text > Please print your entrance ticket > Select text > Link > In url: Enter "{[E-TICKET URL]} " > Save the email

    Thanks for bringing this up Steve! I used that customization often. I hope they reinstate it. The workaround might work in some situations, but a URL is not always a good substitute.
