    Hello Cvent Community-

I have a question. For my last event, even if the person registering did not choose a session date, they still received a confirmation. When my sessions are full, I do not need people to receive a confirmation email, because that leads them to believe they are registered for my event.

    Thanks,
    Misty

Someone can choose an admission item and no session?

Sounds like you may want to put a capacity limit on the event or allow for a wailist.

If you don't want people to be able to complete a registration without having enrolled in at least one session, I'd recommend making an Advanced Rule in the Registration section. You can set the minimum number of sessions to 1, and then people will not complete their registration and get a confirmation email.

Hi, You can set an advanced rule in the admission item for registration that a minimum of 1 session is required to complete registration. You can include or choose to not include waitlisted sessions.
