    Hey community members,

We are ready to kick off this Monday with our Huddle of the Week post!

We have exciting news! Registrations are open for the Cvent Hospitality User Summit which will take place April 11 -12, 2023. With the meeting and events industry experiencing rapid changes, we know suppliers and venues have been asking for training and insights to help them navigate challenges like building new planner relationships and working with reduced staff.

At this 2-day virtual event, you'll have access to in-depth product training across key Cvent solutions, learn best practices to save you time each week, and preview future product updates to help you strategize successfully in 2023. This is a perfect platform for you to become a Cvent power user, learn how to maximize your efficiency, and improve planner engagement.

    Questions for you:

    1. What training and insights are most valuable to you?
    2. What are the most important trends you see in the hospitality industry moving forward?

Would you like to be a part of our product feedback session during the 2-day virtual event? You can enroll while registering for the event. Your feedback is valuable to us and will help improve user experience to better serve you. Register for our upcoming event – Cvent Hospitality User Summit 2023today!

    1. What training and insights are most valuable to you? How to speed up RFP responses in Cvent.  It's a bit tedious for venues to respond, are there any ways to cut down or be more flexible when responding?
    2. What are the most important trends you see in the hospitality industry moving forward?  Just like post-2008 recession, lead times have been cut compared to just before Covid.  Budget is also becoming a big factor as inflation and price increases (for both tangibles and salaries) have caused event costs to soar post-Covid.  We'll be trying to get blood out of turnips for the foreseeable future.

    1. What training and insights are most valuable to you? Estimating attendance in a post-pandemic world.
    2. What are the most important trends you see in the hospitality industry moving forward? People aren't making reservations/plans as far in advance. Everything is happening last minute, which makes it very difficult for a planner to estimate participation.
