Hello Cecelia,
Hope you are doing well!
No - being "Subscribed" does not override inactive event emails. If Cancellation Confirmation and Modification Confirmation are turned off, those notifications will not be sent when a planner unregisters or modifies a registrant.
What the registrant receives depends on which emails are active at the time of the action:
- If you unregister them from the original event and
Cancellation Confirmation is inactive, they should not receive a cancellation notice from that event.
- If they are then registered into the new event, they would receive that event's
Registration Confirmation if it is active there and they are marked as subscribed in that new event.
Also, when doing planner-side registration, modification, or cancellation, there is a checkbox for "Send registration-triggered emails to the registrant." If you uncheck that, no registration-triggered emails are sent regardless of subscription status or active email settings.
So the practical answer is: no automatic extra notification just because they are subscribed; only active triggered emails send, unless you suppress them with the checkbox.
Let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you!
