In addition to James' suggestions, you could also create a different Admission Item for each of the options... this would allow you to give a more custom experience as you could tailor other information based on the Admission Item that they select. For instance - if people that select session option A need to also select hotel for arrival on Monday and departure on Wednesday, but people who want to attend option B need to arrive at hotel on Tuesday and depart on Thursday, you can set up advanced rules based on the Admission Item to show the correct default dates to them when they get to that page of the registration process. You can also restrict visibility of agenda items (sessions) based on the Admission item that they select - automatically including certain optional sessions for them based on their admission item.
