  • 1.  Fee per nigth

    Hi All,

I'm setting up my event and the event fee includes some hotel stays, it is possible to add more stayovers using the shoulder dates feature as a participant. The country the hotel is located in charges a fee per person per night, how do I set this up correctly? The taxes and service fee options are a one time fee instead of a fee per person per night.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards.

    Hi Caroline,

    Hope you are well!

I checked the 'Athens 2025'  event and the hotel rooms shows room rates added and also under the advanced settings it shows the 'Charge registrants for this hotel room' setting as 'Yes' meaning, whatever dates the invitees will select when registering, they will be charged for those nights. However, if you enable shoulder dates, they will be charged for those extra nights too. When you enable the shoulder dates for the invitees to select, the system will charge them for the dates they selected from within the default dates and will make the payment accordingly. After you approve the shoulder dates for the invitee, the system will then charge them for those pending dates showing a payment due. You can send the shoulder date approval email to them at the time of approving the dates asking them to login to their registration and make the payment for the remaining amount.
