Looking for more ways to learn, share ideas, and connect with peers who really understand your day-to-day? This week's Tip of the Week is all about getting involved in Cvent Community User Groups. These groups are designed to help members connect with industry professionals and fellow Cvent users through networking, thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and practical conversations about how to get the most out of Cvent. Whether you're brand new to the platform, managing backend workflows, continuing conversations after events, or looking for industry-specific peers, there's a group for you.

A great way to get started is to join the groups that match your role, industry, or goals, then jump into the conversation by asking a question, replying to a post, or sharing a tip from your own experience. Current user groups include Associations & Non-Profits, Cvent Beginners, Event Talks, Financial Services Industry, Higher Education, Life Sciences & Healthcare, System Admins, Technology Industry, and Third-Party Planners. Each one is built to help members connect around the topics that matter most to them, from best practices and use cases to workflow tips and peer discussions. And if you're passionate about bringing people together, Cvent also welcomes members who are interested in becoming Community User Group Leaders to help foster discussion, support members, and create a thriving community experience. Members interested in learning more about becoming a leader can contact megan.clark@cvent.com.

    Quick tips to get involved

    • Join the groups that fit you best based on your role, industry, or interests.

    • Introduce yourself and share how you're using Cvent so others can connect with your experience.

    • Ask and answer questions to swap ideas, solutions, and best practices with peers.

    • Keep the conversation going in groups like Event Talks, where members can stay connected with speakers, ask follow-up questions, and share takeaways from Cvent-hosted events.

    • Volunteer to lead if you'd like to help guide conversations, support members, and build community with Cvent at the core.

To learn more, check out the Community User Groups page in Cvent Community to explore each group and find the best fit for you.

    Questions for you:

    • What user group are you already part of - or which one are you excited to join next?
    • Which topics would you love to discuss with your peers?
    • And if you've ever thought about becoming a user group leader, what kind of conversations would you want to help spark?
