    What would be the most effective way to do a First Come, First Serve for the first 1500 registrants?

    Looking to offer a gift and collect addresses for the first 1500 RSVPs.  After 1500, registrants would no longer be asked for their shipping info and no mention of a gift would be visible.

    What if,,,
    You include a session item, "Special Gift" and limit the capacity to 1500.
    After 1500, it would say SOLD OUT.

    You can then ask session questions, address,
    Although it would still be visible.
    At 1500 you can hide it from the admission item or reg type.

    All my other ideas would involve monitoring registrations.
