  • 1.  Global Event, Multiple Broadcasts, Multiple Calendar Hold Solution Needed

    Our virtual events often have multiple broadcasts repeating for different regions as a set of simulive sessions. 

    Example Schedule

    • 1hr Keynote
    • 2, 20min brekaouts
    • 2, 20min breakouts
    • 2, 45min breakouts

    This set of sessions runs first for EMEA, next for AMER, and finally for APAC.

    The Cvent calendar hold/ics email does not work for our audience as it covers start of broadcast 1 to end of broadcast 3.  Wondering if anyone has found a workaround or way to provide single calendar holds specific to regional groups instead of for the entire event or a hold for each individual session.

    Hi,

    Could you use a session email rather than an event email, session emails now allows an ICS to be attached?

    Hi Stu,

    Appreciate the detailed suggestion.  Our only hangup on that is that it consists of multiple sessions

    Example Schedule

    • 2, 20min breakouts
    • 2, 20min breakouts
    • 2, 45min breakouts

    And our leadership is really pushing for a way to encompass for example the 4 sessions in a single calendar invite.  We have found workarounds externally but we would love to see something within Cvent be able to accomplish this for ease going forward.  I am not sure if its possible.
