HI
We had a delivery issue related to our DMARC record. The change we implemented was to change the DMARC policy from none to reject. This tells recipients that we recommend they reject any email which does not pass validation checks.
As a result, emails sent by cvent (third party using our domain) were being discarded/rejected by recipient servers that checked our DMARC record.
We had to ask cvent to look at the actual delivery records/email log files for a recent emailing to discover this.
In those logs, they saw the error/rejection codes and understood the issue - "...error smtp;550 5.7.509 Access denied, sending domain intersystems.com does not pass DMARC verification and has a DMARC policy of reject."
We had to set up subdomain without the DMARC reject policy for that new subdomain as the sender address.
This email log file information is NOT available in the delivery reports/reporting portal -we obtained it via a support request.
Your issue may not be what we had, but without access to/analysis of the email server log files, it will be harder to determine your root cause.
