  • 1.  Help with compiling survey feedback

    Posted 12-04-2024 17:13

Hello all! This is my first time asking a question -- I'd like to understand how to compile survey feedback from various events. We host tours, and they are nearly identical so I'd like to compile various dates into one Excel file. I see that the Event Feedback Dashboard Excel download shows the Survey Information and Answers (to two questions) on separate tabs. Maybe I just need to find someone more expert in Excel than I am!

It looks like I need to download a report from each tour date (I have about 50), then combine the data in Excel for a full POV. Your advice is appreciated!

    Hi Kathryn,

Have you tried to run a cross survey report?  When you click on the App switcher icon (top right corner of the webpage) and then click Surveys, there may be a Cross Survey Reports tab - I don't know if this is standard for all Enterprise licenses or not though.  If this is available on your license, you can select the type of report you're looking for (ie. Event Feedback Details) and can edit the parameters (ie. pull results from the last 3 months, attached a screenshot for reference) .  Not sure if this is what you're looking for but worth checking out.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply, Jenn. It looks like we don't have that feature, so I'll compile our feedback manually, using whatever Excel magic I can source!

    Hi Kathryn,

Another option to think about is to pull the individual survey reports from Cvent and then using them as source documents into a Power BI.   I've had to do this for a program that the report capability in Cvent wasn't sufficient.  Good luck!
