  • 1.  How does the registration transaction appear on the registrant's bank statement?

    After registering, will the transaction state CVENT or my event's title/ my company's name? Someone who would like to register for my event asked me how will the transaction be listed on their company's credit card statement and I tried to research, but couldn't find an answer.

    Hi Heyadi,

    Hope you are doing well!

    Apologies for the inconvenience that you could not find your answer.

    In regards to your query, if you are using Cvent Payment Services in the event then you will get and option to select the Statement Descriptors while filling out the CPS (Cvent Payment Services). If you need assistance with the same, you may contact our Ecommerce support at 866.318.4357 and select the options 1 >1 > 1 > 3 for our merchant accounts team. 

    However, if you are using your own payment gateway in that case you will be required to contact the respective service provider and they will be able to help you with the same.

    In additon, I would recommend adding to the confirmation email, Payments will appear payable to <company name>. Or something similar. We have some registrations that some attendees will not recognize the name on their statement and question us.
