    Hi!

    I am trying to work out a way to register group attendees without having to enter a home address for every single person. We need the home address widget enabled so we can include this on the receipt I created in badges & certificates, but it will require this from every group registrant which is extremely time consuming for the customer. I was hoping we could use guest registration instead which doesn't require the home address but that is limited to a max of 10 and we typically have group bookings of 10 to 20 people, sometimes more.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, I have been wracking my brain for days on how to work around this!

    Hi Sam,

    Hope you are well!

    I reviewed your query and unfortunately, right now we do not have the option to display the same address as group leader for the group members and it has to be entered manually for each group member when registering. 

    I understand your perspective and apologize for any inconvenience. But, it sounds like a great feedback. I suggest you to post this as an Idea/feedback for our product team by going to Cvent Community > Participate > Product Ideas. We encourage you to always submit your ideas or any challenges you face while working with the product. As it also help our Product Development team to review the possibilities and if it works we may try to incorporate such changes in our future releases. 
    However, I do have an alternative for you. You can try this and see if this works for you :
    You can create a separate registration type for the group members and associate them to the admission items and create the fees for them if applicable. Then, go to the site designer and associate the registration types with the path and within the group registration settings. Now add the address widget on the registration page and click on the widget add visibility settings basis registration types.
    Steps:
    1. Go to your event > general > registration types > create registration types and create new registration type for the group members.
    2. Go to registration > admission items > associate the registration type to the existing admission item, or create a separate admission item for the group member's registration type and create the fee for them.
    3. Go to site designer > under path settings, associate the group member registration type to the path they need to follow and then add the new registration type for the group members settings.
    4. Add the Home/Work address on the canvas and click on the widget. A panel will open on the right > scroll down to Visibility Settings > click on 'Show for Specific Registrants' > select the criteria as 'Any Criteria' > Add criteria > Registration type > One of > select the group leader's registration types > Publish.
    This way, when the invitee registers, the address widget will only display for the registration types selected for the widget and not for the group member's registration types.
