We are already over a year into a project to finalize our REST API integration between Cvent and Workday -- working closely with Cvent's Integration Support, our account reps and likely other teams. We have encountered challenges that are preventing us from moving forward. We are interested in learning if other Cvent clients have encountered the same challenges and what solution/workaround they may have discovered. The primary challenge right now is that there is an issue (a bug) in Cvent's REST API that prevents GL Code data associated with Hotel Accommodations and Taxes from passing into the Cvent REST API. Therefore, we are unable to pick up this GL Code data to pass it to Workday. A ticket/case has been logged with Cvent. The team is looking at it. We don't yet know what the outcome will be. Our project is stalled until a solution can be found. I'm curious if other clients may have found a solution/workaround.

I would suggest you to contact our Integrations Support directly at 866-318-4357 (US & Canada) > Press 1 for Event cloud > Press 1 for Setting Up Event > and press 4 for Integrations to discuss the possibility of integration Cvent and Workday to pass event credit card transaction data to the finance function in Workday as the team might have to check what information would be required to check for the calls required to retrieve transactions.
