Hello! I would love to see if anyone has great suggestions on general workarounds/timesavers within Cvent Event Management platform. I am a person that is excited about finding new and easy ways to save time and make life easier for all users.

I consider these hacks. :)

My biggest workaround are using internal fields and custom contact fields. But mainly internal fields.
We have several behind the scenes fields I need to populate. Exporting the registration list, editing the excel file and imprting back into internal fields helps me a lot.

I use custom contact fields as filters for emails.

Thanks Steven! I too have been a huge fan of internal fields. I actually just started using custom contact fields in my new role to help with emails. Prior I was using internal fields to filter emails as well but I think custom contact fields is much easier.

Some of my custom contact fields are
National Staff = Yes
National Board = Yes
That way discount codes are applied automatically.

I too love internal fields. I also always find ways to use data tags wherever I can. That way when if some element changes, it will change all my emails and website information as well.
