    Hello everyone!

    I am Siddharth (you can call me Sid), based out of India, and one of the Cvent Academy experts. 

    We are excited to announce the "Training Tuesday" kickoff in our community open forum.

    Navigating new event strategies and skilling up on new event tech is paramount in our industry. Therefore, learning new features or products on the fly becomes essentially fundamental. Taking this into account, every Tuesday, I will be posting something to discuss Cvent's industry-leading training to keep you updated and informed about the latest trends, best practices, and top courses.

    "Training Tuesday" will provide you with valuable insights, tips, and resources to enhance your Cvent skills and knowledge. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced user, there's always something new to learn and discover.

    Here are some examples of topics that we'll be covering in the coming weeks:

    I had some down time at the end of 2022, and was able to take a number of courses in Cvent Academy! It was great timing to help me get more established with Attendee Hub and Event App; in fact, I became Attendee Hub Certified during the process. I've also been exploring new modules and areas of Cvent that I haven't had the opportunity to use yet, in case that opportunity presents itself!

    It's always beneficial to take advantage of downtime to invest in your professional development and enhance your skills. Congratulations on becoming Attendee Hub Certified - that's quite an accomplishment!

    Have you found any particular module or feature that you're particularly excited about? It's always interesting to hear about what others find useful and intriguing within the platform.

    I have attended trainings, explored the different resources in the Knowledge Base and Cvent Learning Center (New!) as well as earned certifications. Cvent provides different ways of learning which provides a different fit for different people.

    Cvent is a robust platform. The trainings and certifications provided a pathway for learning and made me aware of features and functions. Though I might not have used or needed everything I learned at that moment, when we ran into pain points or were trying to brainstorm processes, having the exposure helped. The insight led to innovations for our team and enhancements for our invitees and registrants.

    If you are new to Cvent and attending Cvent Connect, I highly recommend the training camps. Being onsite means you can ask the trainers live, but most of all the networking with others like you is one of the best resources. You'll find you are not alone and you can provide and receive support among other clients as well as the Cvent staff.

    Hey Loretta - I completely agree with you! Cvent is indeed a robust platform, and it's great to hear that you took advantage of the training and certification opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.

    I'm glad to hear that your team was able to use your newfound knowledge, to drive innovation and enhance the experience for your invitees and registrants. Understanding what's available can be incredibly helpful when you encounter pain points or need to brainstorm new processes.

    That's the ultimate goal - to create seamless and engaging events for all type of audiences :).

    I started a new position within my company in summer 2022.  It was a completely different role for me, and I had no experience with Cvent before taking this position (though I do come from a background of live event management).  My manager gave me our company log in information and a list of classes to take in Cvent Academy, including Event Management for Planners I & II and Attendee Hub Onboarding.  Between those three Learning Plans and the extra information available in the Knowledge Base and Open Forum, I was able to start efficiently using Cvent within a few short weeks!  I especially love that the Knowledge Base articles often help provide philosophy behind the "why" of certain features operating the way they do, and often include best practices and suggestions for best use cases.
