I understand how frustrating this must be! It looks like the system is defaulting to the 'LeadCapture License Promotion' template even though it's not relevant. Try these steps: Check if any default email templates are set at the account or event level. Duplicate an existing working template and edit the copy. Remove any invalid data tags flagged by the system. If it still doesn't work, contacting Cvent Support can help reset the template references so your edits save properly.

I am honestly going mad!
I can not set-up an email template! Every time i do, the same error appears "LeadCapture License Promotion email contains the following invalid data tags".
The template 'LeadCapture License Promotion' sits under emails for Exhibitors - its not the email i'm editing. The event has no exhibitors. I don't want to use that email!
I've tried setting up new, editing a current, all the same outcome - it won't save any of my edits, links me off to the random email template then boots me out!
Please help!
