We're a small venue (30 suites) with meeting space. My question is, how do we connect with the right planners for our unique, niche property? Most of the marketing events I go to are all for planners needing 50 or more hotel rooms.

- How much emphasis do you put into rooming requests? It often feels like they aren't looked at until the person arrives to the front desk and then some glances at the rooms available and finds something that best fits the requests at that time.
- When comparing two comparable RFPs, does RevPAR always trump history? We're having trouble with hotels giving us any motivation for repeat business - they are just quoting a take-it-or-leave-it rate. It feels like loyalty is meaningless.
