    1.  Do you have a room block management strategy? We only have a few events a year that require room block management, we usually unfortunately just end up asking room needs as part of the registration process and managing everything manually
    2.  Do you use Passkey for room block management? When the hotel offers passkey we try and use it but often there are hotels that do not have it, and we do not possess our own license to manage it for those hotels that do not.

    Questions for you:

    1.  Do you have a room block management strategy? No. In fact, we are moving away from quite as many room blocks as we used to do because people have so many other strategies for accommodations (ex. AirB&B, staying with friends/family, always booking on Marriott points, etc). Hotels have also increased attrition rates and pushed the deadline further out from the event date in our area, so we've consolidated our blocks to fewer hotels.

    1.  Do you have a room block management strategy? Not really - I'm third-party so it comes down to the client's wishes.  Sometimes they manage, sometimes we do.
    2.  Do you use Passkey for room block management? We do if we're using Cvent for registration

      - If dates are flexible, we'll ask the hotel for different arrival dates within the same week to get the best possible rate for our budget as well as attendees. We use historical data to ensure we are not over- or under-blocking too.

      -Not currently, but always interested in learning new things!
