I am in the process of updating the agenda widget in all current events, to the new agenda widget.  I have found that the alloted card space for session description is very small and often cuts off the majority of my event description.  i have played with the side spacing and font size, with no luck.  is there/ has anyone found a known work around for allowing more text to be visible in this field?

    Hi Hannah,

    Hope you are well!

Within the new agenda widget, the invitees will have to click on the name of the session and a pop up will display which will show the entire description that you have added within the session. The option of displaying the session description as a drop down within the agenda widget is not available in the new Agenda Widget, instead, it opens up as a pop up and displays all the details just like how we have for speakers.

You can add a note at the top of the agenda widget for the invitees informing them to click on the session's name to read the information regarding the session.

I understand your perspective and apologize for any inconvenience. But, it sounds like a great feedback. I suggest you to post this as an Idea/feedback for our product team by going to Cvent Community > Participate > Product Ideas.  We encourage you to always submit your ideas or any challenges you face while working with the product. As it also help our Product Development team to review the possibilities and if it works we may try to incorporate such changes in our future releases.

When I open the agenda in my iPhone the speakers do not show up in Portait mode. I have to turn the phone to landscape to see the speakers.

This is a serious bug that you need to fix asap

CVENT seems to have removed that feature of description. Try it out again and discover what else has changed.

Why there is no option to show all speakers in a session ?

Currently only 2 are shown and you have to press an small arrow to figure out how many more are there.

All other sites I have seen allow for more.

I agree with Harry. Not being able to see all speakers for a session without having to click on an arrow is a big issue.

I agree with Harry, also no start and end times or layout options.  Then told find a work around, code your own or pay to have it coded per event, (Wait! it was already coded before it was changed!) why must it be re-coded to get what we already had, start and end times, a layout that worked with all speakers showing on one page, no arrow to click to see the rest, which people don't pay attention to?  This is not an improvement to this widget, it has taken away most of the usability it previously had and left nothing better in place of it.  I would recommend putting the previous widget back in place where we had all speakers visible on one page, the layout we needed.  It is also cutting off the speaker titles even when you click on the speaker to get more details.  Not functional.

Hi agree with Harry as well. It is a major issue to not be able to show all speakers for a session. It does not accurately reflect the information for the event and the arrow for more is quite small. I'm also sure speakers (i.e., our faculty or senior leaders) do not appreciate being prioritized as to who is advertised! It is also a concern that, at least on mobile, you have to click on the session to see more information, including speakers. There is no information for users to know they have to click. These issues leave us with poor options as customers - either deal with it as is or have to create custom (and there for more finicky/riskier) set up to display.

    Best,

    Kirsten

Well said Kirsten, it is not clear to the users that they need to click to see more.  And it gets finicky to create custom set up display.  And why should you have to create a custom display when there was one that was working quite well, that they had coded before they changed it to this new version?  Why must it always come down to us trying to figure out a work around for things that aren't working?
