We are creating a Cvent Event site wherein, registrants will book hotel rooms via the Hotel's Passkey event. Our client would prefer communication come from the Cvent event, and not the Passkey event. We'd like users to get emails to confirm booking, modification, and cancellation.

As long as the registrant completes registration, connects to Passkey via the registration confirmation page, and books their room from that link, should we still be able to send Hotel Modification Confirmation emails from the Event instance instead of the Passkey event?

Based on this document, it seems like as long as a Bridge ID exists, and RegLink and Default Callbacks toggles are switched to ON, I would assume so.

Hi Jamie,

The New/Modification/Cancel confirmation emails can be disabled at the event level in Passkey. You would need to make this request to the hotel and the hotel could then make that change in the Passkey setup for that event.  In the event in Cvent, there is a "Travel Modification Confirmation" email which can be triggered when a modification is made to the hotel reservation within Passkey as well. You will just need to ensure that it is toggled on to be active and that the send settings are set to send automatically.

Why wasn't the Travel Modification Confirmation email sent?
