Hi Brad,
We use Cvent for the purpose of tracking CEUs at our annual seminar. Attendees have to obtain 40 CEUs over the span of the week to renew their certification. We have used Cvent for the past four years and this past January after our event was done, we pull a report to track total number of CEUs per attendee to award them in our system. Cvent is currently experiencing an issue awarding credits accurately. The report we pulled was incorrect and we worked with an escalation team for two months to get what we hope is an accurate number. With over 600 attendees, that is difficult to verify when your starting data is inaccurate. We are testing their new credit functionality at a smaller event this week. It started out with issues as well but it seems they are attempting to work as quickly as they can to correct it. The Check-In and Out from a QR code is great when it works. I would recommend testing it before your event occurs.

Subject: QR Codes, Session Check-in and Out
Hello Cvent community! I am brand new to Cvent. Working with my team who has a little more experience creating events. That said we are looking to see if there is a solution within Cvent for Check-in and Check-out of sessions with QR codes. For some context, we are a CPA firm and require our team members to Check-in and Out of each event sessions to receive proper CPE credit (Continuing Profession education credit). These are regulations set-up by NASBA (National Association of State Boards Accountancy). We have been using paper sign-in sheets for attendees...there has to be a better way! Anyone else have experience within the CPA space and using Cvent in this manner to record attendance and track CPE?
