As James mentioned, the your registration/event might not be live.
The default weblinks in the event and the weblinks you create are functional only if the event/registration is active. These do not work when the event/registration is in pending test mode.
This is by design because if the weblink is live in test mode and if anyone end up registering to test the event, it will be considered as an actual registration and will be counted towards your account's registration limit. Also, once the event is made active, it cannot go back to test mode. That is why we too recommend the planners to test the event/registration using 'Perform test' and only when they have tested everything thoroughly, then they should make their event/registration active.
