  • 1.  Session reports - No descriptions?

    Hi all!

    Looking for help to see if you've been able to create a session report that shows the session descriptions. Doesn't seem like any of the templates offer this field. Anyone figure out a solution?

    Our conference has an agenda committee that I've added to our portal, and my thought was to have the report/list of sessions and session details always available to them, so they can see their tracks in real-time as edits are approved for a clear view leading up to the event. Just so frustrating that a session report wouldn't offer all session fields.

    Thank you for your question!

    Unfortunately, our standard reports don't currently pull the session description. As a work around, you can export the session descriptions in bulk through a session export from the session list. Navigate to agenda > session list > actions > export sessions.

    On the Product Roadmap session of our annual conference CONNECT, we mentioned the upcoming release of custom reporting. This is in the pipeline for this year.     We've been exporting the agenda this way for years, it works and includes the session description but the speaker's names are the Cvent codes and not the full name which is also annoying.  We were trying to use that same report to send to others as well but everyone needs to see the full speaker's name and credentials.  Is that part of any upcoming improvements here or in any other reports?
