Hi! I've created two sessions for my program and they are required for one group of attendees, but for another group (employees) they can choose if they want to attend the dinner session. How can I set this up in flex?

Hi
Carla,
Hope you are well.
If you have different registration types created for these two set of attendees, then you can create two admission items. For example: you two groups are Group A and Group B. Now, you will create two admission items - Item 1 and Item 2.
Associate the registration type for Group A to item 1 and registration type for Group B to item 2.
Now, lets say, the sessions are required for Group A. Then, please go to the admission item 1 > Advanced settings tab > Edit > Under 'Session Association' (The following optional sessions are included with this admission item.) select these 2 sessions > save.
This will include these sessions with this admission item and anyone who selects this admission item will be automatically registered for these 2 sessions.
And under Admission item 2 > Advanced settings > Edit > scroll down to 'Rules for Optional Sessions' > Availability (Limit which sessions are available to invitees:) select all the sessions which the group B can select but are not required for them to select it.
Please note that these two are different sections under the admission item.
The first option will work only if there is no fee for the sessions. If there is a fee associated with the sessions, then you can create advanced rule for the sessions instead.
