Hey Tori,
Thank you for sharing your experience. Your workaround for displaying seat assignments in the app was truly ingenious and proved to be a valuable addition to the event.
By importing seat assignments as answers to an internal question and using it as a filter on the attendee list, you successfully enabled attendees to view their seat numbers directly in the app. The added bonus of allowing attendees to filter by table number enhanced their networking experience.

- The client was assigning seats for the gala dinner and wanted each attendee seat to show up in the app. As this is not currently possible with the seat assignment function, I created a workaround to import all of the assignments as the answer to an internal question attached to the attendee data. Then I used that question as a filter on the attendee list. The seat number then appeared underneath each attendee's profile card in the app. As a bonus, attendees were able to use the table number as a filter on the list to see who else was sitting at their table.
- A couple of key points to making this work is that the internal question needs to be set up as a choice answer, not a text one. Also, if you are importing more than just the table number (ie: "Table 6 - HR & Compliance"), don't use the "&" symbol. It doesn't transfer into the app properly. Use "and" instead.
