Hello, We are excited to use the Games portion of CVent for our upcoming live event. We would love to have the ability for attendees to @tag each other as a part of recognition ideally in a discussion but open to other options (ie sessions gaming) Is this possible? I have exhausted all resources I can find including AI which are all telling me that YES it is possible, however in my test environment, I cannot seem to bring this to life. Outside of gaming, is @tagging attendees a possibility or even #items for simplicity / data pulling avail with the platform? Thanks!

Attendee Hub doesn't currently support true @mentions or hashtag-style tagging in either Games or Discussions/Chat.

In Discussions and session/exhibitor chats, attendees can post messages, reply in threads, react, and upload images in a chat-style format. However, typing a name or using something like @topic is treated as plain text-it won't link to a profile, notify the person, or create a trackable tag.

For Gamification, challenges are tied to specific actions (such as posting in a discussion, uploading a photo, joining a session, scanning a QR code, or answering polls), not interactions like tagging other attendees.

Workaround:
You can create a dedicated discussion for shout-outs (for example, a "Recognition Wall") and set up a Game challenge like "Post a recognition message in the Recognition Wall discussion," allowing participants to earn points for engaging.
