Even though I've been here awhile you guys are constantly changing and evolving so sometimes it's like getting to know it all over again! The best thing to do is really stay engaged, read discussions -- sometimes when people ask questions even if i don't know the answer I like to challenge myself with  trying to find the answer and solve the problem. Participation regularly is helpful so I try and block my calendar for 15 minutes at the start or end of the day to check in on cvent celebrity and tackle a few tasks.

    Welcome newcomers!
As a brand new user, doing the Academy intro courses and taking the certifications was a great way to start using the tool before messing with actual events. I also recommend joining user groups that match your industry, as there are many ways to leverage the various tools based on which type of events you put on!
    Cheers,
