The best way to set this up is to create separate admission items for the sessions - In Person and Virtual and then associate respective sessions within each admission item.
However, as you want to use only one admission item, then the best option is to create two registration types - In Person and Virtual, and limit the availability of the sessions basis the registration types. This way, any invitee selecting In-Person registration type, will only see In-Person sessions and same goes for Virtual registration type.

Thanks for that, Rebecca! Unfortunately, that doesn't help my issue! I want two sessions tied to a single hybrid admission item. When a person registers for the virtual admission, I want a one of the sessions to only be available to those virtual attendees. When someone registers for the in-person admission of the item, I want the other session to be the only one available. Because I have both sessions tied to that one hybrid admission item, it keeps pulling both of them, no matter what path, virtual or in-person, the attendee is on.

Can you have two sessions associated to one admission item in a hybrid event? I want to have one session only available for an in-person registration path for the admission item and have the other session available only for the virtual registration path of the admission item. When I test the event under the in-person registration and choose this admission item, it registers the attendee for all the sessions that are associated to the admission item.
